We have finally reached the end of the Seven Candles series, where I strive to blend the future with the past, and science with history!
For those who haven’t met the series yet, here is a brief summary:
Seven Candles tells the story of a young girl raised by robots on a distant space station. Alongside a soldier who was tasked with destroying her but chose mercy instead, she travels through Earth’s past via a black hole. From Ancient Anatolia to the lands of the Middle East, they try to survive under different conditions across various centuries and geographies while uncovering the secret of their journey.
The books in the series are, in order: The Seventh Candle, The Sixth Candle, The Fifth Candle, The Fourth Candle, The Third Candle, The Second Candle, The Final Candle.
The first four books were published last year.
The final three books, which will conclude the series, went to press today. For an author, watching a story woven stitch by stitch over the years set off on its final journey to the shelves is an indescribable feeling.
Note: I will be at the Kaktüs Sanat stand this Sunday at the İzmir Kültürpark Book Fair between 13:00 and 14:00. 🌸
